recreational facilities. The Pua Day Spa offers massages and beauty treatments.

Located across from East Kauai's Coconut Marketplace, this hotel is a popular spot for catching sunsets and whale-watching; Spouting Horn, Kilauea Lighthouse, and Poipu Beach are 30 minutes away. This oceanfront hotel is set amid a large coconut grove, steps from three shopping villages and attractions. The property completed a multi-million-dollar renovation which includes the lobby, front desk, restaurants, lounge, pool, banquet rooms, and all guestrooms.

Benches along the beach are popular spots for sunset watching and seasonal whale watching. A walking/jogging path runs parallel to the beach, although the beach is not a recommended swimming beach due to unpredictable currents. Other on-site amenities include a pool with ocean views and a surrounding sundeck with spa tub. A daily breakfast buffet is served in the Chart Room (7 AM – 10 AM).
The Royal Coconut Grove is an 8-mile strip of sandy beaches, unsurpassed ocean views, and low-key activity. Long ago, the Wailua River, fed by rainfall on Mt. Waialeale, the wettest spot on earth, provided abundant water for ancient Hawaiians to cultivate crops in this area. As a result, the coast is home to many archeological sites.

The resort offers one tennis court, a pool, work-out room, and day spa. Other amenities include laundry facilities, meeting rooms (open late April), and a business center. In the lobby, the concierge staff arrange luaus, excursions up the nearby Wailua River, helicopter sightseeing trips to North Kauai's spectacular Napali Coast, and all other activities available throughout the island.
