Mahana at Kaanapali Beach
All Oceanfront, All Magnificent! This secluded oceanfront resort on Ka'anapali Beach offers panoramic views of the beautiful Pacific from every suite. Custom-decorated studio, one- and two-bedroom air-conditioned suites offer complete kitchens and large lanais. Beachfront pool, tennis, shuffleboard and sauna. Facing the ocean, this resort is set on a beach at the southern end of residential Honokowai, between Kapalua and Kaanapali; Lahaina is 6 miles away.
Quiet condominium community with 216 air-conditioned units that face the ocean. Island-style furnishings, large lanais with tables and lounge chairs. Each unit includes a kitchen and a washer/dryer. All units have DVD players.
Peace and quiet. Guests return here year after year because the condominium resort delivers the tranquility, relaxation, and climate they desire. Situated at the dead end of a short, tree-shaded road (5 mph speed limit), the resort is within a 10-minute walk of a major shopping center and a 2-minute drive from Maui's main highway, which goes north to Kapalua (4 miles) and south to Kaanapali (3 miles) and Lahaina (6 miles).
Two gas barbecue grills permit guests to cook outdoors after a session on the resort's two lighted tennis courts, a shuffleboard game, a day spent lazing in the pool, a day of sunning on the oceanside lawn, or a swim in the Pacific off a narrow beach.
The Beach Club Restaurant - Located a 10-minute stroll away in the Mahana at Kaanapali's sister resort, Kaanapali Shores, this breezy, open-air restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner under whirring ceiling fans. A bar prepares tropical drinks, and a band plays five nights a week. The fare consists of full breakfasts, burger/salad/sandwich lunches, and dinners of local seafood, steaks, pastas, and prime rib.
Golf alone makes West Maui famous. Three award-winning, championship courses nestle between the verdant West Maui Mountains and the blue Pacific in Kapalua, 5 miles north of Mahana at Kaanapali. Two other world-class courses are 2 miles south in Kaanapali. In addition, the Kapalua Golf Academy, Hawaii's premier state-of-the-art teaching facility, is located nearby.
Those who love long, quiet walks on the beach will find the Mahana ideal, with one mile of empty beach directly to the south. The stunning West Maui mountains are right out your back door.
