One of our most popular condominium resort villages, Makena Surf is located right on Paipu Beach on Maui's southwest coast. Nearly one-half mile long, the absolutely stunning Paipu Beach offers great swimming, fantastic snorkeling, easy access and good boogie boarding when there's surf. Best of all, this is one of the least known and least crowded beaches in Maui's Wailea and Makena resort areas.

Avid golfers, vacationing families, and extended-stay travelers frequent these privately owned condominiums on Paipu Beach. Although it’s 5 minutes away from the bustling resorts and Shops at Wailea, the gated apartment community feels less crowded and more residential. Buildings were built in 1983 and 1993, and landscaping along walking trails from parking lots to individual units includes hibiscus, bird of paradise, red ginger, and fragrant plumeria trees.

All guests receive complimentary coffee on their first morning. Rooms have daily housekeeping service. Maui-made toiletries include papaya with passion fruit, sea kelp, aloe, macademia, and Hawaiian ginger. Rooms include all appliances, cookware, dishes, linens, and laundry detergent.

Complimentary seasonal activities include tennis clinics, water aerobics classes, and a manager’s poolside party. The concierge can also assist with dinner and golf reservations; grocery shopping or catering; child care; and health club memberships.

This property has 107 one-, two-, or three-bedroom condominiums, all of which include a king or queen bed in the first bedroom; and a king, queen, or two twin beds in the second and third bedrooms. All rooms have central air conditioning, a full kitchen with a microwave, and washing machine and dryer. Units have private, furnished lanais with views of Paipu Beach or the Pacific Ocean. Units include a telephone with answering machine. Living rooms have color TV with DVD player and CD stereo. Master bedroom has TV and VCR. Amenities include toiletries, linens, laundry detergent, and first morning’s coffee. Full sofa beds in units may be requested, subject to availability.
